Real Estate CFO – Houston, Texas – Real Estate Development and Construction
CFO Search, Inc. has been retained by a Houston based real estate development and construction company to recruit an exceptional, top tier, CFO who is at the pinnacle of their career.
Simply put, our client is looking for the best of the best – an A+, upper echelon CFO with an impressive pedigree and list of accomplishments, who is accustomed to performing at the highest level in every situation. The compensation package will be exceedingly lucrative, above market and in-line with an individual of this nature.

> Real Estate Development Company that specializes in the design, development, financing, acquisition and construction of medical buildings and other large-scale projects.
>Company has a global footprint, an excellent reputation within the industry, and is actively involved within the local community as well.
> Stable and growing organization that has been in business for over 50 years.
> Current total combined revenues exceeding $250 million.
> This is a much bigger position and opportunity than it may appear – we are currently limited with the information that we can share but additional details will be revealed to the right candidate
Compensation:
> Commensurate with several factors including experience, credentials, education, and overall background.
> Extremely high earning potential with the opportunity for advancement within the company.
> Client is targeting high performing CFOs with stellar credentials – total cash compensation (base + bonus) is expected to meet or exceed $500K. In addition there will be a substantial ownership stake (equity) in the company.
> Due to the importance of this role, our client is prepared to pay what it takes to land the right CFO for this position.
Position:
> Strategic and operational role focusing on profit maximization, growth initiatives, cost reduction, analysis, planning and forecasting.
> Growth Potential – promotion to Vice President or Principal within a short period of time assuming candidate meets expectations (This will be a natural progression over the next few years.)
> Supervises staff of 20+ and manages all financial aspects of the company including lender and project negotiation.
> Operational duties will increase as this person grows with the company and transitions up.
Requirements:
> CFO level with 15+ years of total experience and a history of top performance.
> Outstanding Pedigree/Credentials (Ivy League Education or Top Ten MBA)
> Executive presence, natural leadership skills and ability, motivated and driven
> Dynamic, crystal clear communication and spectacular presentation skills.
> Extremely proactive executive who “get’s it” and knows how and when to step up and handle a challenge or situation before it becomes an issue.
> Master communicator who commands respect, but is humble enough to work efficiently at every level – encouraging staff, mentoring managers and developing leaders.
